Among the features of 1.1 release:

Among the features of 1.0 release:

Botnet attack on http://vito.ho.ua from one of the Verizon IP addresses

A botnet attack on http://vito.ho.ua was indicated today from one of the Verizon IP addresses.

Multiple botnet bot or scanner tool scan and injection attempts for http://vito.ho.ua site were happening tonight.

Seems that was relatively advanced botnet as there were signs of scanning
for multiple popular web CMS vulnerabilities -

- content/wp-admin for Wordpress
- templates/subSilver/subSilver.cfg for phpBB
- update.php for Drupal
etc.

Data Becker CMS overview

I've just come through another interesting German CMS which is Data Becker http://www.databecker.de this time , downloaded and set up English and German trial versions (which were suprisingly big - 183 and 208 Mb correspondingly) and made some quick tests.

Here are some outcomes:

Marlida CMS overview

I've just come through of interesting German CMS named Marlida http://www.marlida.com/ , one of my friends had a setup and he let me log in and make some quick tests.

I should mention here that I was just checking Marlida for my previous projects and now I was studying it a bit more carefully, and I've found much issues in it upon that.

Seems that many users were spotting these issues and many of them moved to other CMSes because of these, there is a number of forums with negative responses for Marlida.

Here is the brief list of issues:

White House team http://www.whitehouse.gov/ - open government in action

After all they said about new White House http://www.whitehouse.gov/ site at the comments for http://personaldemocracy.com/node/15131 , http://digg.com/software/WhiteHouse_gov_Drupal_Detractors_Get_Buggy , http://www.slate.com/id/2233719/ etc. and I said personally here, I want to say a few words of support for the new White House incentive. Seems I should say these even if no one will notice.

White House http://www.whitehouse.gov/ site moved to Drupal

White House http://www.whitehouse.gov/ site was moved to Drupal (they had their own content management system previously). As Michele Heffner writes at http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Collaboration-Achieving-Better-Results-by..., this is done according to the new Open Government program, increasing society democratization and supporting the middle class.

Content Taxonomy - show default taxonomy fields at content types

Content Taxonomy http://drupal.org/project/content_taxonomy by mh86 is an interesting and useful addition to the core taxonomy. It is useful when you need additional taxonomy field on your CCK content type.

But there's one more feature - it hides default taxonomy fields from content types by default. What if you need to see Content Taxonomy field and the original vocabulary at the same time on that node?
