Rawlog module release 1.2

After all that much of testing and bug fixing, Drupal 6 compatible 1.2 release of rawlog is in place, http://drupal.org/project/rawlog . This is a bug fixing and new features adding release.

Among the features of 1.2 release:

Rawlog module release 1.1

Drupal 6 compatible 1.1 release of Rawlog is finally there, http://drupal.org/project/rawlog . This is a new features adding release.

Among the features of 1.1 release:

  • File format. You may change the log file format to show full events info on multiple lines with field titles to ease events reading, if you don't have much activity on the site, or stretch these to one line without event field titles for saving disk space and quicker review.

Rawlog module

Textlog module is now Rawlog http://drupal.org/project/rawlog thanks to Jake Gordon jakeg and after two alpha versions there is 1.0 release now!

Among the features of 1.0 release:

  • Log file path/name changing. You may specify a path and name for your log file. Web server must have write permission to the file. If file not exists, it will be created.

Textlog module

Created and added a Drupal Textlog module for logging system events to file, as a tiny and lightweight replacement option for watchdog (dblog for Drupal 6) module. It is intended for using in situations when the site is highly loaded and even disabling DB logging activity can slightly help.

White House team http://www.whitehouse.gov/ - open government in action

After all they said about new White House http://www.whitehouse.gov/ site at the comments for http://personaldemocracy.com/node/15131 , http://digg.com/software/WhiteHouse_gov_Drupal_Detractors_Get_Buggy , http://www.slate.com/id/2233719/ etc. and I said personally here, I want to say a few words of support for the new White House incentive. Seems I should say these even if no one will notice.

White House http://www.whitehouse.gov/ site moved to Drupal

White House http://www.whitehouse.gov/ site was moved to Drupal (they had their own content management system previously). As Michele Heffner writes at http://www.whitehouse.gov/blog/Collaboration-Achieving-Better-Results-by..., this is done according to the new Open Government program, increasing society democratization and supporting the middle class.
